The Learning & Participation department at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance have let us know about their really exciting partnership launching with Tomorrow’s Warriors. They are offering two taster sessions this December for 11 – 16 year old musicians interested in learning more about Jazz. They do not need to have any particular experience, beyond being around a Grade 3 standard, and can play any instrument including vocals. All of the sessions will be free, and applications from Black and female young musicians are particularly welcome. These taster sessions will also lead into a programme of free regular sessions next year, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire are using these workshops to help identify young people that we feel would benefit from a longer term place on the programme.
