During the COVID-19 pandemic our service arrangements are slightly different. Our seating is socially distant and there is no congregational singing, though members of our choir do sing solo or small group items. We offer Holy Communion in a COVID-safe way and you are invited to bring along your own bread (but don't worry if you forget, we have some sealed wafers available!)
Our main service is always at 10:30am on a Sunday morning and all are welcome. We usually offer children's work as part of this service (click here for more details). All are welcome to this service. If you need a gluten-free wafer or non-alcoholic wine please ask a member of our welcome team.
The first Sunday of the month is usually all-age in format, accompanied by our music group. On other Sundays we have organ accompaniment. We sing a blend of traditional and more modern hymns and songs. Our choir sings for us on the third Sunday of the month and major festivals. We use inclusive language most of the time, and our worship is 'relaxed Common Worship' style.
Note that Open Table in August will be livestreamed on Facebook at 6:30pm on Sunday 23rd August. Our first in-person Open Table service will be on the 27th September at 6:30pm.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we have Open Table: refreshments at 6pm, service starts approximately 6:30pm.
Open Table is an LGBTQIA+ affirming service: come as you are to join us in a service which is led, as far as possible, by members of the LGBTQIA+ community. People come from some distance to attend this very special service. We are part of the Open Table network which offers a safe sacred space for LGBTQIA+ Christians.
